About this work
The winged archangel Michael raises his sword to kill Satan, depicted as a dragon. Satan sits on one of the scales of the balance held by Michael, in the other scale sits a soul of a deceased. Top left and right the shields with the electoral and ducal coat of arms of Saxony are depicted.
