About this work
A werewolf or a wild man crawls on hands and feet over the ground while he has set his teeth in a small child. He leaves a trail of already torn bodies behind him. On the left in the background stands a woman in the doorway of her home, she raises her arms in fright. Above the house in the air the electoral and ducal coat of arms of Saxony is depicted on two shields.
