About this work
Saint George (Georgius) stands clad in armor and with a lance in his right hand in a landscape. Two small angels or putti hold parts of the armor, such as a helmet with feathers; some parts lie on the ground. At the top two shields bearing the electorate and duchy arms of Saxony are depicted.
