About this work
Stag hunt with hunters and dogs in a landscape with a river and possibly the castle of the elector in the background. The landscape is depicted from a high viewpoint. Several stags have already been driven into a corner and are being killed. In the top left and right corners, shields are depicted with the electoral and ducal coat of arms of Saxony. The print was made with two woodblocks.
