About this work

Judith walks in her finest clothing and accompanied by her maid through the city gate out of the city of Bethulia. The city elders stand by the city gate and one of them makes a blessing gesture. To the right in the distance lies the tent camp of Holofernes. In the margin above the image is the text Judith X.
