View outside the Haarlemmerpoort in Amsterdam. At the start of the Haarlemmerweg and the Haarlemmertrekvaart, passengers board a towboat. On the right in the background lies the Haarlemmerpoort. This Haarlemmerpoort, designed by Hendrik de Keyser, was built between 1615 and 1618.
