About this work
Saint Thomas of Villanueva, clad in episcopal vestments and surrounded by a halo, is surrounded by poor and sick whom he heals. He takes coins from a purse and distributes them. On the right two clerics look on, in the air an angel flies with a crown and lilies. In the margin an inscription in Latin.
