About this work

Triptych with scenes from the life of Saint Remaclus. In the center, Remaclus stands in his cave, situated on the bank of the river Semois. The left wing shows figures in liturgical clothing hurriedly transporting a coffin. In the right wing, the shrine of Remaclus, laid out in the abbey church of Stavelot.
