About this work
In a spacious, classically looking hall or passage Christ washes the feet of the disciple Peter. The other disciples stand in groups nearby. Below the representation two lines of Latin text. This print is part of the unfinished print series 'The Great Passion', consisting of 7 scenes from the Passion narrative.
