In a spacious, classically designed hall, Christ sits with his disciples at a long table. Several other people stand and walk around them. This print is a counter-etching (contre-épreuve) of a print that is part of the unfinished print series 'The Great Passion', consisting of 7 scenes from the Passion narrative.
