About this work

<p>Men's clothing: Cylindrical hat with turned-up brim. Collar composed of layers. Doublet with pointed apron flaps and wide half cuffs. Short mantle. Wide-falling breeches. Knee bands with bow. Shoes with low heel and tie closure. Women's clothing: Cap, round collar, shoulder mantle. Tight bodice and apron over overcoat. Belt with accessories (knife, pouch)</p><p>Costume print: German fashion ca. 1620: man and woman, standing before a building with garden wall, in front of them a dog. The man stands turned to the right, dressed in breeches with bows, short jacket with points for the stomach and lace collar. High hat on his head and shoes with large bows at his feet. The woman is seen from the front and is dressed in sober gown over which a short cape.
