The Whale stranded between Noordwijk and Zandvoort, 4 January 1629. Dead whale lying on the beach. With many visitors and carriages on the beach, in the background the dunes. At the bottom a view of the whale from behind with two fishermen on either side. With left and right captions in Dutch (a time verse) and French.
