About this work
Bust portrait of Gaspar de Bracamonte y Guzman, Count of Peñaranda. The portrait is set in an oval frame with the coat of arms of the sitter and a Latin border inscription. In the cartouche a five-line inscription in Latin. In the margin the name and function of the sitter in Dutch. Copy after the print of the same name by Pieter de Jode II from a series of portraits after paintings by Anselmus van Hulle of all delegates at the peace negotiations at Münster and Osnabrück.
