About this work
Saint Mansuetus, the first bishop of Toul, stands at the front of a procession of people (including a king, a queen and some saints or clergymen) opposite a man holding a small boy, completely limp, in his arms. A tennis racket and tennis ball lie on the ground. In the background, a tournament is taking place on a monastery grounds. Below the image an inscription in Latin.
