About this work
Two gentlemen dressed in armor and a mantle with fleur-de-lis (René II of Lorraine or Saint Louis of France and Godfrey of Bouillon) each stand before two pillars, on either side of a cartouche with French text and a coat of arms. Above this cartouche a medallion with an apocalyptic representation, namely of the Adoration of the Lamb.
