About this work
A love couple in antique clothing in the outdoors. Above the couple flies a putto with arrow and bow. A second putto scatters flower petals. Venus, surrounded by putti, is drawn through the air in a shell by two doves. The scene is framed with an ornamental border where coats of arms are depicted in the left and right corners.
