Portrait of the Antwerp painter and draughtsman Maerten de Vos, at the age of 60. Two allegorical female figures (Rhetoric (r.) and Minerva (l)) hold a laurel wreath above the portrait. In the laurel wreath an emblem of a bird sitting on a fox.
