Ceiling painting in the king's apartments in the Louvre. Father Time abducts Truth and flies with her through the air, accompanied by a putto with a sickle and the snake biting its own tail (symbol of eternity). Along the edge of the ceiling, the personifications of Anger and Envy. In the margin, a four-line caption in Latin and French.
