Sheet with two depictions of wedding ceremonies among Portuguese and Ashkenazi Jews. Top: A Portuguese Jewish wedding. The veiled bride sits under a canopy and the groom breaks the glass. Next to him stands the rabbi. Bottom: Outdoors, a Jewish bride and groom stand together under a prayer shawl, the tallit. The groom gives his bride the ring. Opposite the couple stands the rabbi. Below the images an explanation in French.
