About this work
The letter and initial M with armor, scepters, and a staff with a half-moon in the background. The print comes from a book on cut gemstones and glyptics. The initial stands at the beginning of a textual dedication to Charles VI, Holy Roman Emperor, who fought against the Ottomans.
