About this work
A ship has been dashed on the rocks, around it lie drowning people in the sea. On the shore are figures who want to help the people thrown overboard, to the right stands a figure who takes care of a washed-up drowning person. On the verso is a printed text in Dutch in which the representation is further explained. Print marked top left and right: II. Deel - Pag: 190.
