About this work

In a library stands the bust of the writer Pierre de Villiers on a pedestal. Around it stand the personifications of Faith (Fides), Truth (Veritas) and Justice (Justitia). In the sky flies a putto with a lyre and a laurel wreath in his hands towards the image; in the foreground two putti shake hands.
