Allegorical Representation with Enthroned Liberty

The personification of Liberty, flanked by Mercury and Minerva, thrones under a baldachin. Behind her stand two figures with the liberty cap on a stick and a bundle of arrows, symbols of liberty and unity. In front of the enthroned Liberty stands a row of allegorical figures, who come to greet her. To the right in the foreground Hercules strikes down devilish figures with his club.
