About this work
On the left, a donkey with a cart heavily loaded with goods. On the right, a horse with an empty cart. The fable describes how a horse is dissatisfied with its life until it meets a donkey. The story's message is that a horse has an easier existence than a donkey and teaches that every person should be content with the life they have.
