About this work
In the foreground, a fowler sitting under a tree. He holds the ropes with which he can draw the nets. The man has scattered too much seed, so many different birds pick up food on the nets. As a result, he cannot pull the trap shut. It is better to concentrate on one thing than to want too much in life.
