About this work
Two roosters facing each other, ready to fight. In the background, a partridge in front of a chicken coop. The fable describes how a partridge ends up in a chicken coop and is pecked by the chickens. Seeing a fight between two roosters, the partridge realizes that aggression is characteristic of a chicken's life. The moral of the story teaches that one must accept the limitations of others and be content with oneself.
