About this work

King David plays his harp, kneeling in a room. On the table an open choir book with the five-part motet 'Laude pia Dominum' (Psalm 118/119/164) by Andries Pévernage, sung by five men and boys. The motet was specially made for the print. The print has a Latin inscription with explanation.
