Sixteenth part (border work, top center part) of a print of the siege of the Huguenot fortress La Rochelle in the years 1627 and 1628, which was carried out on the order of the French king by the French army under the leadership of Cardinal Richelieu. On this sheet a portrait of Louis XIII in oval with border text, surrounded by a crown and military attributes. Top left the letters 'IO' and top right a large 'R', parts of the inscription of the print.
