Sixteenth part (central map, upper right section) of a print of the siege of the citadel Saint Martin on Île de Ré in 1627, executed by English troops under the command of the Duke of Buckingham and concluded by French troops under the command of Cardinal Richelieu. On this sheet the western point of the island, on which various fights take place.
