About this work
The newlyweds Flora, the goddess of flowers, and Zephyrus, the god of the west wind of spring, with a basket of flowers and garlands on the bank of a river. Above them floats Amor with a burning torch. Below the image a four-line verse in French. After the painting in the collection of Philip I of Orléans.
