Diana and Actaeon

Grisaille, depicting the hunter Actaeon, who discovers Diana and her nymphs bathing, in the corner of the ceiling of the Chambre des Bains in the Hôtel Lambert. The depiction is flanked by a river god and a river goddess, each with a water jug. Around the depiction, ornaments and in the center below two putti with coral. Print is part of a series of prints after the paintings in the Hôtel Lambert in Paris.
