About this work
Urania, the muse of astronomy, sits under a tree by a globe with the constellations and holds a pair of compasses in her hand. She is crowned with a ring of stars. After the painting that hung in the Chambre des Muses of the Hôtel Lambert. Print is part of a series of prints after the paintings in the Hôtel Lambert in Paris.
