About this work

Saint Cecilia sits with crossed hands before her chest in a room. Opposite her an angel playing the organ. A second angel operates the bellows of the instrument. Between them a music stand (in the shape of a pelican pecking its breast) with a book containing musical notation of the five-part motet 'Fiat cor meum...' by Daniel Raymundi. In the doorway, to the left rear, Valerianus.
