About this work
On the way to Damascus, Paulus is struck by the light from heaven and falls to the ground with his horse, blinded. He raises his hands. His servants are also startled. From a cloud, Christ looks at Paulus with a cross in his hands. Three putti in the air. In the foreground, a small dog jumps. Below the title in the margin, a reference to the Acts of the Apostles.
