About this work

Eve hands the apple to Adam, who looks at the serpent above him in the tree of knowledge of good and evil. The couple is surrounded by animals, including two birds of paradise in the sky. To the left of Adam a cloud containing the Tetragram. In the background Adam and Eve, covered with leaves, can be seen. They run away with raised hands from a cloud with the Tetragram. To the right an angel with a sword is seen driving the couple out of paradise.
