About this work

A large group of putti look on as a putto rides past in a chariot drawn by two goats. A putto lying on the ground tries to escape in time from the approaching chariot. One of the putti holds a laurel wreath over the head of the putto in the chariot. In the foreground a putto walks with a drum.
