About this work
The two Blokhuizen in the Amstel outside Amsterdam, built in 1651 for the defense of the city after the failed attack by Willem II on Amsterdam 30 July 1650. On the water various small boats. Between the houses a view of the mill De Joffer and the Zuiderkerk.
