About this work

Niche on a pedestal under a pergola. In the center of the niche are Laocoön and his sons fighting with the snake. Above them stands Caritas, flanked by two women. Sheet G from a series of 12 sheets, numbered A-M, with flat decorations of grotesques with strapwork, satyrs, garlands, trophies, animals and fantasy creatures.
