About this work
On a basement, consisting of a three-part frieze with scrollwork and animals, sits a man with a shovel and cornucopia. From his head grows a tree. To his left stand a horse and a camel; to his right an ox, a dog and a lion. Belongs to a series consisting of a title page, a text page and 14 sheets with grotesques with scrollwork, satyrs, garlands, trophies, animals and fantasy creatures.
