About this work
In a vaulted half-niche stands a fountain in the form of a vase. On the vase a man, flanked by two herms who pour water into the jug of a child sitting at their feet. Around the fountain figures with jugs and pitchers. Belongs to a series consisting of a title page, a text page and 14 sheets with grotesques with scrollwork, satyrs, garlands, trophies, animals and fantasy creatures.
