About this work

The dead man of God from Judah lies on a forest path. Beside him stands the lion, and further on, the donkey. The man of God had disobeyed God's command by eating and drinking in Bethel. When he left, he was killed by a lion but not devoured. According to the biblical story in 1 Kings 13:23-28.
