The obverse and reverse of a commemorative medal in honor of the silver wedding anniversary of Jacobus Ploos van Amstel and Sara Rothé. On the obverse, the river god of the Amstel with the coats of arms of the couple. On the reverse, the couple holding each other's right hand above an altar. The whole is framed in an ornamental border.
