About this work

Christ is a guest in the house of Simon the Pharisee. He lies at the table while Mary Magdalene anoints his feet and dries them with her hair. Servants stand around the table and serve the guests. Below the image a three-line Bible quote from Luke 7 in Latin. Below that a two-line inscription with a dedication in Latin.
