About this work
Christ sits on a cloud next to Mary. He acts as judge, his arm raised. He is surrounded by groups with cherubim, saints and apostles. At the bottom the damned who are tortured by devils in hell. Letters stand next to various elements in the scene corresponding to the legend in the margin.
