The victory of Jan III Sobieski in the Battle of Komarno, October 9, 1672

In front of it, the Dniester River can be seen, and in the bottom right, the fortress at Komarno. On the second sheet, entirely to the left, fighting takes place at Komarno. On the third sheet (which fits under the first), there is battle chaos and prisoners. On the fourth sheet (which fits under the second), Jan Sobieski is found, on horseback behind a priest holding a cross aloft in a blessing gesture. He is surrounded by Polish winged hussars, armored cavalry, and Polish-Hungarian dragoons, fighting against a Tatar force supported by Cossacks.
