Title page for 'Icones Biblicae Veteris et Novi Testamenti', 1708. In the center an angel blows a trumpet, surrounded by a crowd. To the right of the angel a woman with the stone tablets of the law. Slightly lower to the right, the personifications of Envy, Drunkenness, Gluttony, Avarice, Hypocrisy and Violence are being combated by angels. To the left of the angel the seven works of mercy. In the foreground the apostles with their attributes.
