About this work

In a landscape a group of people is gathered around a fiercely burning oven in which three men are located. Nebuchadnezzar had the three young men Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego thrown into a burning oven after they refused to worship a golden image. The young men remain unharmed in the fire to the great astonishment of Nebuchadnezzar through the intervention of God. Others who stand too close to the oven are struck by the flames.
