About this work
Saint Dominic has a vision in which Christ with three spears wishes to destroy the sinful world (a globe with the seven deadly sins). The Virgin Mary begs him to spare the world and shows Christ Saint Dominic and Saint Francis, both kneeling on either side of the globe. The print has a Latin inscription and subtitle and is part of a print series for a book on the life of Saint Dominic.
