About this work
Several shepherds bow and kneel before Mary, who holds the Christ Child. Joseph points to the Christ Child. In the stable stand the donkey and the ox. On the right, two more shepherds are approaching. Behind the stable, a building and several columns. In the sky, God surrounded by angels. Below, a two-line inscription in Latin from 1 John 4.
