About this work
Christ stands by the bed of Peter's mother-in-law, who is ill. He blesses her while Peter supports her. Around them, some figures, including apostles and a small child running up. On the left, a woman by a pot over a fireplace and some figures, possibly apostles, at a table. At the bottom of the margin, a one-line Latin inscription from Luke 4:38.
